SEISMIC ACTIVITY STRIKES SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

A strong earthquake struck Southern California early this morning, sending shudders through the region. The epicenter was located near forty miles southwest of Palm Springs.{ While the intensity is still being calculated, early reports indicate a significant event. There are at this time reports of damage to buildings and businesses in the area. Em
